Work location: Belton, Ontario

Status: Permanent, Full Time,

 

CHALLENGES WE OFFER

This role will act as a strategic business partner to support the Agronomy Company of Canada (ACC) reporting directly to the GM. Ultimately responsible for the decision making that helps with the profitability and growth of the JV partners. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Manage the relationship and driving the business with each one of our joint venture (JV) partners;
  • Work with and support JVs on positioning and forecasting for the upcoming season with procurement team;
  • Support inventory management in partnership with JVs and office support;
  • Support acquisitions, operations and CAPEX planning;
  • Work with partners on the day-to-day operations;
  • Liaison between office support staff and JV locations;
  • Assist the GMs in new business opportunities, governance and franchise/shareholder agreements and compliance;
  • Support finding new opportunities for JV partners through acquisitions and optimization;
  • Help with strategic direction for the JV partners and ACC.

 


YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE

  • You hold a University 1st cycle degree;
  • You possess 7-10 years of prior relevant or related experience;
  • You have excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills;
  • You are recognized for your strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to develop and maintain productive relationships with various partners;
  • You possess excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to share your vision and provide coaching;
  • You have the ability to successfully analyze and interpret documents and situations.
